Department of physics offers a Ph.D. program which includes a course component and research/thesis component, the degree is awarded after the completion of all the required course credit hours and the completion of the thesis/research.

 

The program was organized and planned by a group of highly experienced faculty members and holders of professorships in physics. They have many experiences in the fields of postgraduate studies, in the required bureaucratic components and related committees. They relied on contact with international universities abroad, specifically the American universities: Harvard university, Berkley, cal tech, Stanford, MIT and others, as well as Canadian universities like the university of west Ontario, and in Britain, the university of Manchester, in order to benefit from their experiences.

 

This program is tailored for exceptional M.Sc. students that wish to continue their academic career, as well as international scholarship holders. After graduation, the student can be assigned to a faculty position in one of the various universities or work as a researcher in one of the various research centers.
