Objectives of the course :
This course aims at teaching the principles of heat and thermodynamics and their applications .
Course Description :
Basic principles of thermodynamics, First law of thermodynamics, Specific heat for ideal gases, Carnet's cycle, Entropy and equilibrium, Chemical potential, Maxwell's equations, Properties of pure materials, Change of Phase, Clausius-Clay Peron equation, Vapor pressure, Kinetic theory of gases, Principle of eguipartition of energy, Specific heat capacity of solids .
