Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of the prophets and messengers, our master Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions.
Welcome to Faculty of Science, the Female section, as I have the honor of the Faculty of Science Vice-dean for female’s campus. Faculty of Science was established in 1973 (1393H), in which it includes distinguished faculty members who are pioneers in different fields of science, as well as including technical and administrative competencies working side by side with the academic staff for the more progress and prosperity. The faculty of Science currently includes six different scientific departments, namely the departments of Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, and Statistics. These departments contribute greatly to highlighting the role of women in various fields of science, whether at the academic level or scientific research, especially in the light of the Kingdom's 2030 vision, which supports the empowerment of women and reinforces all their achievements, whether in scientific publishing and patents, or even in the areas of community services and activities that develop various skills in many areas.
The female’s section of Faculty of Science has also emerged in the fact that many members have won many local, regional and international awards over the past years. Many of our members held leadership positions, whether in universities, ministries, or various bodies.
Also, many of our female students, whether in the undergraduate or postgraduate level, have reached many achievements that contributed to the advanced recognition of all scientific departments in the faculty, whether at the local level or international level, and God willing, the tender march, success, and excellence continues to Faculty Science.
