Objectives of the course :

The course aims at teaching the principles of current electricity electromagnetism and electromagnetic radiation .


Course Description :

Static magnetism in matter, Electromagnetic induction, Faraday's law, Maxwell's equations, Electromagnetic waves. Their propagation in conducting and non-conducting media, Dispersion, emission of electromagnetic radiations from dipoles and point charges .
