Master of Science in Physics

Introduction

The Department of Physics granted a Master of Science degree in physics-based on courses and thesis, and this requires the completion of (36) credits are distributed to mandatory courses of (17) credits, and elective courses of  (9) credits and (10) credits for thesis.

 

Tracks of Master's Program:

Track I: Theoretical Physics

Track II: Nuclear Physics

Track III: Solid State Physics

Track IV: Laser Physics

Track V: Semiconductor Physics and Electronics

Track VI: Medical Physics

 

Requirements of Admission to the Master's Program

1.    The Applicant must have a university degree from any recognized university and should have a degree with “good” at least.

2.    If your First language is not English, you will need to reach a suitable standard in an approved test of English for entry to a graduate program. The required test scores are as follows:

Please note that language certificates should not be more than two years old.

3.    He must have a record of good Conduit and must be medically fit.

4.    Recommendation letters should be submitted from two of his former professors.

5.    Approval of the study by the employer (if the student work).

6.    Pass the test of competition among applicants, which is held by the Committee on Graduate Studies, Department of Physics.
